What facinates me the most.

I have alot of things that facinate me, but most of all it is metal that facinates me. Even though it sounds boring and dull, metal can be made into many beautiful things that we use daily. For me cars are an awesome example on how metal is made to be beautiful, but just not any car. I'll discuss more in another post.

Week two questions

Who influenced you?
-To tell you the truth I don't recall anybody influencing me. As a kid I was born in a poor family and I really didn't get to much direction when I was young. My fondest memories of me doing something with art was in kindergarten. I remember vividly the non-toxic paint our teacher gave us. The first thing I did was to dip my hand in one color and the other hand in another color and the rest is history. Later on of course I had art teachers that pushed me on to become a better artist.

What drove you here?
-My car, I'm just kidding, this question is similar to the last question , so stay tuned.

Who inspires you?
-Everybody inspires me. I have learned that if I open my eyes and pay close attention I can learn at least one thing from every person.

What drove you to be in this line of work?
-I have always loved cartoons.

Why are you doing what you are doing?
-I am doing Animation and Multi-Media because it's the closest thing related to Cartoons. Also as an animator one day I will have my own show and I can reach kids and teach them something positive with my cartoons.

What made you come to this school?
-A friend was going to this school and she told me about it. I really do things without thinking about it, sometimes.

Questions from Class

1. What have you learned about yourself, your art, the world from college classes?

I have learned that I can apply more time on my work. i no longer have as many distrations as I use to have and that I need to focus more on my work. I feel my art is on hold since the other type of art I do are not done in this school such as welding and painting. i have learned that the world needs art.

2. How have those ideas influenced your goals and direction of life?

First of all, my goals have changed since I came to this school. I really didn't know what I was doing when I came here. I thought I was going to be really into 2D animation, but after talking to teachers and seeing where the industry is going, I had to change my goals. Now I want to become a 3D model and asset artist. I will still continue to do the things I used to do in the past, but if I want to earn some money I better stay with the 3D and get better at it since the competition is tough out there.
